Some People's Kids

I work as a nanny. I love my job 90% of the time. I would love it 100% of the time if I didn't have to deal with a lot of the parents. I recently gave myself a raise, which I feel I deserve, and there are two families who have chosen to take issue with it. I have an idea, if you don't like it....find someone who is cheaper. We are going to be re-doing a lot of stuff in our house and gas is also $3.10/gallon. I don't charge them when I use MY gas to run their kids all around the city and so I believe it shouldn't be that big of a deal. I understand everyone has a budget, but so do I! I am very lucky to have a job I love and enjoy, I just wish that people would try and understand other people's position. It isn't like they are in financial trouble at all.

Anyway, we are going to get A/C put in the house next week and then we are doing wood floors and after that carpeting. We just purchased a new couch. I cannot wait to have newer feeling house. We have had lots of help in trying to get us the best price so thank you so much for all of your suggestions and referrals . It will be fun to try and decorate on a dime after it's all done and I want to re-do the colors in my bedroom and stuff like that. We are having a garage sale this weekend and getting rid of tons of junk. I love that my parents donate to these things to help us make some money! I think that is about all that is going on right about now. I am also going to try and play in a grass volleyball tournament with my sister in like 3 weeks. Wish me luck because seriously I suck at it!
