Rolling the Snowmobile
This weekend we had an awesome opportunity to go to a friends AMAZING cabin. They went up on Thursday and we met them up there Friday afternoon when Jeff and I both got done working. It was a blast. We played lots of games and stayed up late playing, talking and eating like crap. On Saturday we decided to go snowmobiling. I have never done this before so I decided to just ride with Jeff. Let me preface this story by reminding you that on our cruise we rented scooters and Jeff nearly killed us a few times. Okay maybe he didn't almost kill us but he did have a few, what we will call "incidents". When he almost crashed us into a wall he decided quickly that is way my fault for not leaning into the turn appropriately. Okay, now fast forward to this weekend on the snowmobiles. We were following our friend Chad because he knows the area and we went on a narrow path with a slight slope. We rolled the snowmobile which thankfully only landed on my ankle and didn't get either of us anywhere else. We did manage to crack the windshield slightly on our friend's snowmobile. Go ahead and ask me why we rolled it on such a small hill....yeah, you guessed it, "someone" wasn't leaning into the turn and we lost balance and over we went. After this ride I realized that Jeff has never learned how to lean when driving any type of ATV. It was very entertaining. Each turn we took after we rolled it Jeff would ask "which way?" and I would yell which direction and throw my weight to the correct side. Luckily for us Chad and Rachael are very understanding and weren't mad...or at least they put on a good show if they were. They have THE most amazingly sweet, fun, entertaining and cute kids. We hot tubed, played TONS of games, snowmobiled, talked, played ping pong (which I always lose to Jeff by about 2-4 points. However, remember that he has still never beat my bowling score though!) played video games and just relaxed. We are so grateful to have such fun friends to hang out with. Thank you Chad and Rachael for the invite and the amazingly fun weekend. Next time we get to take you guys to St. George so you know we aren't using you for your beautiful cabin! :) Mark, get, set....LEAN TO THE RIGHT! Thanks again guys!
