Our Last Childless Christmas and New Year's

These Holiday's were our last as a childless couple...if all goes as planned. :) We decided a long time ago that we were going to spend Christmas in Arizona with my mother and father-in-law and Jeff's family. It ended up being warm and cozy and really enjoyable. I thought I would miss my own family much more but we stayed busy enough that I hardly thought about not being home. I am so fortunate to have married into the family I have. Jeff's parents are always so sweet and fun to be around. We got home Monday the 26th and I worked my first overnighter since October. I can tell that I am for sure out of working shape. I watched a 3 year old and a 1 1/2 year old.  It kept me tired and busy and the next few days I paid for it with contraction type cramps and all that fun stuff. On Friday the 30th we headed to St. George for the New Year's weekend. My dad and brother were also down there with us. Jeff got to golf on Saturday and we spent the weekend vegging out, watched movies, wondered the outlets, ate out and played cards. We came home today just in time for me to go to the Dr. and hear that our baby looks great and is growing really well (my biggest fear is that he will stop growing like our last experience). He is ahead of schedule by a little bit, which is great. We have seen very clearly many times that this little man is for sure a boy. He is not shy in the least! Now we plan for the year when our lives will change dramatically for the better. It's time to get serious about budgeting/saving and planning this little guys into our lives. I can't decide what to do with his room. Time to set some goals for the New Year and start getting ready for this cute little baby we have waited for for what seems like forever. I cannot wait for what this year will bring!!!
